

Mark loved life, his family, people, and most importantly God and Jesus. His strong faith in God, himself, and others made him a magnet and inspiration to everyone. His one of a kind smile, broad shoulders, and larger than life personality, instantly uplifted everyone he met.
Mark was a good man with a strong fighting spirit and never give up attitude and he is sorely missed by his family and friends.
Mark was born in Murfreesboro, TN, on July 14, 1958, the son of Edna Reed Mooneyham Crecelius and the late James Robert Mooneyham. He accomplished a lot in life. A native of Nashville, he received higher education from MTSU and Nashville Tech. Mark’s intellect, strong work ethic and character along with his honesty, integrity, and devotion to helping others excelled him to business owner of a multi-location car rental company. For fun he enjoyed golfing, repairing cars, attending UT and Vanderbilt football games, fishing, hunting, watching movies, and dining out.
He is survived by his mother, Edna Mooneyham Crecelius; two daughters, Marci (David) Peters and Amanda Cawthon; a son, Jackson James Mooneyham; three grandchildren, Ava Peters, Kaylee Cawthon, and Grant Peters; brother, Lanny Mooneyham; nieces, Landa Gann and Kimberly Nelson; and several nieces and nephew.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 10, 2016, at two thirty at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Graveside service will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Park in the Garden of Time.
