Robin "Bob" M. Hall Jr.

Robin M. Hall, Jr. passed peacefully on Monday, November 25, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Tuesday, May 30, 1933 in Nashville, Tennessee to Nell Willingham and Robin Hall. On August 29, 1953, he married the love of his life, Shirley Faye Moore. Together they raised two children, Robin Clay Hall and Brian Lawton Hall in a loving, Christian home. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Shirley Faye Moore Hall; his son, Robin Clay Hall.

Mr. Hall was a proud father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He adored his family and loved them with a passion that words cannot describe. He exemplified Christian living at its finest. Mr. Hall was a member of the Jaycee’s, enjoying their many activities. He was a proud supporter of the Boy Scouts, as both of his sons were Eagle Scouts. He followed football (UT Vols.) and politics avidly. He was supportive of his grandchildren in all their activities. Mr. Hall was a faithful follower of the United Methodist faith and a member of Liberty United Methodist Church.

A 20 year veteran with the Army and a Quality Control Inspector for Ford Glass, he is survived by his son, Brian Lawton (Valerie) Hall; daughter-in-law, Sheryl Rennie Hall; grandchildren, Kristina Lynn (Robert) Hall, Joseph Christian Gash-Hall (Jessica), Katelyn McColgan Gash-Hall (Destiny Dunn), Ariel Rennie Hall Biggs (John), and Julia Moore Hall (Patrick Belton); three great grandchildren Jessica Kay-Lynn Keith, Brian Cole Keith, and Chance William-Rae Keith; sisters, Janet Hessey and Cherri Manning, a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, St. Jude or the Nashville Rescue Mission.

A celebration of life will conducted 11:30 Tuesday, December 3, 2019 in the chapel at Eastland Funeral Home with Pastor Lloyd Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.

Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Hall at a visitation Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 3:00 until 6:00 at Eastland Funeral Home 904 Gallatin Avenue Nashville, Tennessee 37206

Biography
