I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with him. We laughed alot and bickered as much. All in fun. He was a great man. He missed his wife so much. I loved hearing the stories of how they met, which he told often. I'm sad that is is gone but I know he is happy where he is.

We grew up in a neighborhood where men were scarce. But Ronnie was there, more than most of the other dads and that alone gives him high marks in my book. I remember one time he brought home this big inflated brown paper “pillow” for lack of a better word and for days us kids jumped on it. It was huge. What fun we had.

I saw him just before the pandemic hit and his memory was already going. I said “I’m Margaret’s daughter, I know you remember her and I look just like her”. He said something like “I sure do and you poor thing, you do look like her.” Haha So glad I was able to see him then.
Love you all!
