Mrs. Rose Xenna Dodd Sweeney, age 82 passed away Sunday October 25, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and friend to many others. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Cowles Sweeney and grandson, Cody Ryan Conder; her parents, Clarence Adron Dodd Sr. and Lizzie Ruth Sparkman Dodd; 5 brothers, Clarence Adron Dodd Jr, John Calvin Dodd, Hugh William Dodd, Edward Dee Dodd and Ottis Sparkman Dodd. She is lovingly survived by daughters, Sandra (Robert) Campbell, Darlene (James) Porter, Rita (Bruce) Conder, and Shirley Conder, sister Ruth (Marvin) Howard; brother Brown (Eunice) Dodd and sister in law, Mary (Edward) Dodd. Grandchildren, Michael (Amy) Porter, Jamie (Matthew) Miller, Christopher Canary, Kenneth (Amy) Canary, Jeremy Conder, Jake Conder, Kyle Conder, Casey (Lindsey) Conder, and Robin (Vance) Grant; and Great Grandchildren, Katherine Canary, Justin Porter, Adam Porter, Ethan Miller, Mike Grant, and Ella Grant. Celebration of Life Services will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at eleven thirty in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Gathering of family and friends will be from nine o’clock in the morning on Wednesday until the service at Woodlawn.
