RUBY D. BAILEY, AGE 87 OF WATERTOWN, TN.
Born in Ardmore, AL. She passed away January 15th, 2022, she was the daughter of James Ervin George and Mary Elisabeth Canup.
Survived by her loving sons, Michael Wayne (Jennifer) Bailey of Watertown, TN. Allan (Janice) George of Lebanon, TN. She has 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Erskin Robert Bailey (Tootie); Her sisters, Edna Kathleen Wilson, Jewel Dean George, Beatrice Irene Neeley, Elizabeth Roberta Reeves, Betty Jane George; Her Brothers, John Ervin George, Joseph Wayne George, Charles David George and Donald Ray George.
She will be remembered as a woman of character, who worked very hard and valued living a life of integrity and valued her love of family unconditionally. She will be deeply missed by those who were blessed to know and love her. She was a caring and loving wife and mother.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 20th, 2022 from 11 am to 2 pm in the dogwood suite with a celebration of life to start immediately after at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Pastor Bruce Wilson will be officiating, entombment will follow in Woodlawn’s Cross Mausoleum.
Family and friends to serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
