Ms. Danielson was a wonderful woman and teacher. Beyond her classroom responsibilities, she also stepped in as a volunteer sponsor for our quiz team when the prior person stepped down. She led us with gusto, encouraging us to learn and having lots of fun doing so. Her smile and laugh will always be with me. Her patience with my attitude is also something I'm lucky for.

I had the opportunity to teach with Ruby for several years at Mt. Juliet High School. She was a caring and compassionate teacher and friend. I extend deep sympathy to her family, which she adored.

Ruby was one of The Yard Dogs, a social group founded in the 1990’s at The Courtyard Cafe. She was as fine a person as was ever born! She loved a song I wrote with Josh Holthusen called “You Inspire Me”. She requested it quite often because it reminded her of being a teacher for so long and all the young lives she inspired. She and Bruce were a much beloved couple who participated in pretty much all the fun things we used to do back at The Courtyard Cafe. A true friend with impeccable character, Ruby was solid, dependable and walked her walk of faith every day. God Bless You Ruby! Thanks for your beautiful friendship! We will miss you!
