Mrs. Freels was born in Sumner, TN, on June 17, 1930, the daughter of the late James Arterburn and Ethyl Timlinson Arterburn. She enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels, going to the beach, mountains, picnics, holidays, and going to the pool.
Survivors include her husband, Earnest Freels of thirty-four years; children, Victoria (Kenneth) Peebles, Brenda (Steve) Alexander, Teresia (Rodney) Elliott, Pamela (Randy) Minton, Barbara (Max) Wolke, and Mark Judkins; grandchildren, Angela, Tammy, Shannon, Christy, Heidi, Susan, Michelle, Max, David, Michael, Shawna, and Mitch; fifteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Connie Minton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 19, 2015, at eleven thirty in the morning, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday from one o’clock in the afternoon until five o’clock in the evening, Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton-Funeral Home.
