Ruth retired from the Metropolitan Board of Education.
She is survived by her daughter, Melinda (Tom) Miller, grandsons, Matt Mather, Greg (Bryan) Miller, Alex (Stephanie) Miller, and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Philip Travis (Barbara) Mather.
Visitation at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home Thursday September 8th from 1:30pm-2:30pm, Funeral will begin at 2:30pm in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
