My thoughts and prayers go out to Chad, LeAnne and all of the rest of your family. Sharon was my childhood babysitter and we spent much time with her growing up. I remember all of the fun times playing in the creek and running through the yard. One memory that I distinctly remember was that Sharon bought me my first diary. It's blue with stars on it, and I remember thinking how cool it was that it had a lock on it and I could keep Chad from looking through it :) I still have that diary to this day. She will forever be remembered as my sweet Nashville grandma--my grandparents lived hours away so I just always considered her like my own.  One of my favorite things about staying at Sharon's house was that she had Fruity Pebbles--which my mom would NOT allow. My brother James and I ate up all of the Fruity Pebbles, which I'm sure Chad didn't appreciate--Sorry Chad! :)

She was kind, giving, and I know that she loved me. I had lost contact with her for many years as time went on and I grew up, traveled, took jobs in other states, moved away from Nashville, etc. Earlier this year, somehow Sharon tracked down my phone number and we played through about 15 years of catching up. It was really great to speak with her. She was just as I had remembered her, and of course, spoke a lot of her pride and joys--Chad and LeAnne. Your mom spoke of you two every other sentence, and she is so proud of you both. I hope that you find peace during this time and know deep in your souls that your momma loved you both dearly.  You are equally the apples of her eye. 

I am praying for all of you--that you will find peace and encouragement in Sharon's great faith. I am confident I will see her again one day soon. Rest in peace, Ms Sharon. I have and will always love you and cherish your love, support and encouragement. 



I was saddened by her death.. She was truly a outstanding lady with her southern charm, warmth and kindness. 
I feel honored to have been truly graced by having her in my life.
