STEWART, Ruth C., age 95, went home to be with her Lord on February 11, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Claude E. Stewart; son, James Edward Stewart; grandson, James Richard Tidwell and a great great grandson, Jayden. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Claudia Ann Tidwell (John-deceased), Shirley Ruth Elliott (Don-deceased) and Beverly Jane King (Pete-deceased); 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Ruth was a lifelong member of the Jere Baxter Eastern Stars, a faithful member of Judson Baptist Church and she collected angel figurines. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 11:00am until 7:00pm on Thursday, the 14th of February, 2013 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, the 15th of February, 2013 in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held from 10:00am until the time of the service. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society.
