Mary Lou, so sorry for your loss. We loved Sandra and even though we did not see each other often, we have great memories. I will always remember our wonderful stay at your home. Sandra made sure we had plenty to eat and made us feel wanted and comfortable. Then there was the time we went to the pyramid club in Addison. I remember the entertainer calling Sandra " Dottie" because of her polka dot blouse. We sure laughed a lot that evening. I will always remember our good times together. Love you.

I’m fortunate to have many good memories of Aunt Sandra. All of my visits to Nashville she helped make special. She was the best hostess, thoughtful, a great listener, she had a great laugh and she made a mean spicy margarita! She had a great sense of humor and played Dottie well!! We had great conversations and she always picked great restaurants to take us to. I’ll miss our Loveless Cafe outings. Mostly, I’m going to miss just being able to chat with her. Even though we were states away, I always felt close to her.

I’m sending lots of love, hugs and prayers to Aunt Mary Lou and Matt. Aunt Sandra is missed so much.

Love,

Jasolynn, Joe, Kelsey, Audrey & Evan

I first met Sandra several years ago when we began serving as fellow board members on our neighborhood HOA board of directors. I quickly became impressed with Sandra's knowledge, attention-to-detail, and fairness, serving our neighborhood community. Even though my relationship with Sandra initially began as a HOA fellow board member, it grew into a close friendship both with Sandra and Mary Lou that I will always treasure.

As a friend, I had a deep appreciation for Sandra's loyalty, honesty, encouragement, and unselfishness. As a person, I equally had a deep appreciation for her integrity, character, hospitality, humility, and unselfish love. I will certainly miss all the text exchanges, conversations, and breakfasts/lunches/dinners that Sandra and I shared. May she rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mary Lou and Matt during this season of grief.

Aunt Mary Lou,

I am so sorry for your loss. When I think about Sandra, I remember her wonderful sense of humor. Whenever we got together at Grandma's, she was always joking around and having a good time. You guys were great together, and I know that you will miss her dearly. We will miss her as well. Thinking of you and Matt at this very difficult time.

Love,
Chrissy and Dan

I met Sandra (and Mary Lou) back in the early 1990’s when I was the Property Manager at the condo they lived in. I was impressed with the way Sandra cared for everyone and exhibited a strong business-woman approach to the management of their community and home. She certainly will be missed!

Wonderful memories of their life for Mary Lou and Matt!

Sandra was the perfect hostess when we visited Nashville. She made us feel like we were staying at a 5 star resort. Went out of her way to make us comfortable. My favorite memory though is when she visited us back home here in Chicago, and we went to see an Italian comedian who called her up on stage. She had a lot of laughs and was a good sport. She was wearing a shirt with polka dots on it so he called her Dottie. Which we continued to call her years later. So Dottie here's to you! You will be missed by all! Love you!

Mary Lou and Matt you are in our prayers and in our hearts at this difficult time.
