Sandra Mae Smith

SMITH (Woodruff), Sandra Mae age 70 peacefully passed from this life to be with the Lord on January 8, 2013. Sandra was a precious sweet spirited soul. A loving mother grandmother, sister and friend. She is predeceased by her mother, Bertha Woodruff, father, Charles Woodruff, Jr. and two sisters. She is survived by her Husband, Marvin Smith of N.C; a son, Mark (Sherri) Smith of N.C.; daughter, Lisa Jennings of N.C. two grandchildren, Autumn and Tristan; sister, Shirley (Bob) Ferry, Nashville; brother, Mike Woodruff, Gallatin; niece, Micah; great niece, Jadyn and great nephew, Cael. Sandy was a graduate of Donelson High School. She was a former member of Lebanon Road church of Christ before a move to North Carolina for a period of time before relocating back to Nashville. Sandy was a very loving person, fun loving and loved life to the fullest each day. She left a wonderful legacy of love and a shining example of selfless caring for others. Always with a positive attitude and full of life. All who knew her, loved her. Services will be held at one o’clock Friday, January 11, 2013 in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Adam Faughn officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be members of Lebanon Road Church of Christ. Visitation Friday ten o’clock until time of services at WOODLAWN-ROESCH-PAT Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN.
