Sandra Priscilla Stevenson was born on September 8, 1939, to Reverend James T. and Mary L. (Cantrell) Harris Sr. On the morning of October 2, 2026, the Lord called her home. She is preceded in death by her parents; youngest son, Emil Bernard Stevenson; three sisters, and her only brother.
She graduated from Pearl High School and received an associate’s degree from San Diego Community College in Child Development.
All the Harris siblings were taught God’s word, principles, ethics, and values by their parents from an early age and throughout their lives. For Sandra this provided the blueprint for how she lived her life and reared her children. Throughout her life she was a mother, surrogate mother, daughter, aunt, cousin, niece, grandmother, and a loyal friend to many.
Her Christian faith, ethics principles, and values were an inspiration to all who knew her especially her siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and close friends.
Wherever she has lived be it out West, out of the country or here in Nashville, TN, she has served in some capacity at church, school, or in the community.
Sandra will be greatly missed by her devoted daughter, Tiffany S. Kincaid; son, Roderick Jonathan Stevenson; 6 grandsons, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, her two remaining sisters, in-laws and close friends.
