

Sara Ann Floyd Brandon died peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 21, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born February 19, 1930 in Nashville, TN and was the daughter of Rev. William E. Porter Floyd and Annie Estelle White Floyd.
Sara Ann graduated from Peabody Demonstration School and attended Peabody College. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Sara Ann was a former member of First Baptist Church Nashville and the Centennial Club. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Sara Ann was predeceased by her parents and brother, Vernon Porter Floyd.
Sara Ann is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Thomas Gentry Brandon; daughters, Suzanne Brandon of Nashville, TN and Connie Brandon Woodham (Andrew) of Columbia, SC; grandson, Drew Woodham (Christine) of Columbia, SC and niece, Lee Ann Floyd Stiles of Kingwood, TX and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from one o’ clock in the afternoon until two on Thursday, June 25, 2015 in the Parlor at Immanuel Baptist Church, 222 Belle Meade Blvd., Nashville, TN 37205 with funeral service to follow at two-thirty in the afternoon. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
