Sara Marie Daugherty

Daugherty, Sara Marie Wright entered into life eternal on November 1, 2016. She is preceeded in death by her husband, James Robert Daugherty, parents Minnie Lee Buchli Wright and T. Dayton Wright, and brother, J. D. (Judy) Wright. She is survived by children, Barbara (Mrs. Richard) Young and Jim (Barb) Daugherty and grandchildren; Bryan and Michael Young; Alex (Georgia), Joshua, and Sara Marie Daugherty. Mrs. Daugherty was an active member of First Lutheran Church where she was a member of The Fellowship Sunday School Class. She was a graduate of West High School and retired from the MNPS accounting department. Sara and James were members of The Nashville Squares and The Barnlofters. She was always active in her community, and most of all, she was a supporting, caring, loving presence in her family.Visitation Thursday November 3rd from four o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening, second visitation one hour prior to service on Friday. Funeral service Friday November 4th Ten o’clock in the morning in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall, burial following at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, or the American Cancer Society.
