

Sally was born in Nashville, TN on December 24th, 1928. She attended Isaac Litton High School.
She married her soul mate and love of her life James (Jimmy) Ivy on February 8th, 1946. Sally was a hard worker and worked hard her entire life, but she finally retired from Peterbilt on Myatt Drive.
If Sally had a passion that came close to the love she had for her family, it was bowling. Sally is a member of the TN USBC Bowling Hall of Fame. She won numerous awards and tournaments, far too many to list. She was asked to go pro and decided against it so she could stay closer to her family.
Sally and Jimmy had 3 children, 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 10 great great-grandchildren.
Sally is survived by her daughter Linda (Robert) Bain of Mt Juliet, James Ivy Jr of Mt Juliet, and Danny Ivy of Mt Juliet. also survived by her brother Thomas (Willie Jean) Spurlock and her grandchildren Todd (Jessica) May, Kim (Raphel) Fernandez, Fran Zipperer, Shane (Melissa) Ellis, Jamin Ivy, Byron (Jennifer) Ivy, Niki Ivy, Dalton Ivy, Brenae Ivy, Dylan Ivy, Daniel Ray (Tasha) Ivy, Jeremy (Sheryl) Ivy, many great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Sally was preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 54 years James (Jimmy) Ivy. Sister Jere Bailey, sister Lottie Minick and grandson DK Ivy.
Sally loved everyone and she always had her little sayings, she had her sweeties, she had her little boys, and she always loved you mo!
A Celebration of Life and interment will take place in the spring. Details will be shared at a later date.
