Devoted Christian, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother. Gaggy was loved by all who met her and had a calming loving demeanor.
Over her many years, she taught Bible classes, participated in women’s retreats, knitted blankets and hats for hospitals to give newborns. Gaggy was amazing and someone we are all lucky to have known and strive to be like.
In her last couple of years she lived life to the fullest in assisted living at The Manor. She enjoyed all the activities provided and was active their until the last two weeks. Gaggy also worked numerous jigsaw puzzles and listened to records with her grandchildren, quality time that can never be replaced.
Sara was preceded in death by her husband James N Jones of 58 years of marriage.
She was survived by Daughter, Brenda Davis- North Little Rock late husband Bobby Davis.
Son, Marty Jones and wife Becky-Ashland City, TN; dear sister-in-law, Dorothy Jones, Raleigh, NC.
Grand children: Learon Dalby wife Stephanie, Chris Dalby wife Katherine, Zack Jones wife Kayla, Ben Jones wife Holly, Mendy Bull husband Michael White House TN, Becka Wilson husband Mark, NLR
Great-Grandchildren; Jeff, Justin, Jordan, Emma, Ellie, Elissa, and Madison Dalby, Matthew Bull wife Pamela. Marshall Bull White House, TN Corbin & Bethany Reeves & Samuel Wilson all of NLR.
The family would like to thank the staff on the 7th floor at Baptist Health for their superior care of our Gaggy.
While their are numerous stories of love, selflessness, memories, and Bible verses that could be shared, Some of the most important to her were: John 3:16-18 & Psalms 23.
Gaggy, you will forever be missed and we all look forward to reuniting with you in Heaven.
Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at one o'clock, Woodlawn's Dignity Hall. Gathering of family and friends, Tuesday from six o'clock until eight in the evening, and 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the service on Wednesday at Woodlawn.
