

Mrs. Manley was born on February 18, 1935 in Nashville, TN, daughter of the late Harley Boss and Ruby Stidham Boss.
Sarah was a lifelong member of the Harpeth Hills Church of Christ. She loved the Lord and led her life as a faithful Christian. She was a friend to all and was quick to help anyone in need.
Sarah was a graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended David Lipscomb and Peabody College. She met Alanson at Peabody and began a love that lasted for more than 57 years. They never stopped being sweethearts.
Sarah was a long time Nashville business owner, but because of health problems she retired early and spent her time with those she loved.
She is survived by her husband, Alanson B. Manley, Jr.; sons, Bill Manley (Carol Ann), Brad Manley, Boss Manley (Lori); daughter, Beth Manley Boatman; grandchildren, Jason Boatman (Kelsey), Laney and Katie Boatman, Paige Manley (Jennifer), Chase Manley, Becky Jones (Tyler), Tim Davis (Danielle); five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o’ clock in the afternoon on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from three o’ clock in the afternoon until seven on Sunday, November 30, 2014 and two hours prior to service time at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
