Sophia Grace Nightingale

Our little angel, Sophia Grace Nightingale, was born on November 12, 2010 in Smyrna Tennessee, to devoted mother Tiffany Janea Nightingale and father Jesse Nightingale. God called her back to Heaven on November 18, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather David E. Mitchell, great-great-grandparents Richard and Hester Davis Hall Rushing, great-great-grandparents John and Della Drew Hall, great-grandparents Donald and Helen Majors Sr., grandfather Jesse Nightingale Jr., great-grandparents Marcus and Susie Floyd, Aunt Gwendolyn Allen, and Uncle Brian Nightingale.

Though Sophia was ill all of her life, she was still able to spread cheer and happiness amongst every heart she touched. She enjoyed watching television and would light up with excitement when watching Yo Gabba Gabba, Olivia, Bubble Guppies and the Fresh Beat Band on the Disney channel. When not occupied by television, she would be playing with one of her many beloved toys Geoffrey the giraffe, Sweets the bunny and Toot the bear.She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her parents Tiffany and Jesse Nightingale; devoted grandparents Jerry and Rita Majors Sr. and grandmother Barbara Nightingale; great-grandmother Thelma Hall Mitchell devoted uncle Jerry Majors Jr. Aunts Roslen Donelson, Janice (Michael)Majors-Patterson, Debra (Steve)Majors-Bell, Mai Alice(Sam) Walden, Joyce (Ronnie)Caudle, Julia Owens, Christine (Ronald)Word, Rosalyn Buford, and Zelma Hockett. Uncles Richard (Ruby) Mitchell, John (Christine) Mitchell, David Mitchell, Wayne Mitchell, Donald (Vallie) Majors Jr. and Charles Nightingale. Godmother and devoted friend Cathy Callahan. Devoted cousins, Sharon (Frank)Barksdale, Kevin (Reeshemah) Donelson, Tanya (James) Bradley, Steve (Laura)Bell Jr., Brandon Majors. Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday Evening, November 22, 2011 at Woodlawn's Digniyt Hall. The Family will receive friends from 6 unitl time of services at 7 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park, Nashville, TN.
