In celebration of life, the Bethlehem Center of Nashville wishes the family of Stella Mai Swilley all the love and peace that your heart can hold.

Will always remember the summers spent at Grandma and Papaw’s. From her homemade cathead biscuits every morning and the beautiful dresses she would sew for me, to all the times she’d sit at my bedside nursing me when I’d get a migraine attack, before we even knew I suffered them and the infamous perm fiasco (IYKYK😏)Also her advice on boys🤦🏼‍♀️😄…”when you see a boy, you run the other way and holler Police Help!”…but then accepted Joe, my now husband of 26 years, with loving open arms, telling me if I didn’t marry him she would. He will forever be her “Joe-baby”. And our son Logan, who she could make laugh, became her “laughing boy”. So many amazing and loving memories will never be forgotten❤️

Another little piece of my heart has left this earth, but she is no longer in pain. She was my second Mother and that meant a lot to me. I love you Ma. You will be missed.

She is survived by sons George Thomas Huffman of Selma, AL, Dardis James Huffman of Springhill, TN, James H Swilley of Alma,MI, Jerry T Swilley of Louisville, KY and two daughters Ade Mai Quailes of Wetumpka, AL, Nola Mai Rittenberry of Hedwig, TX. Also sixteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

God will Bless us and turn all ours tears to joy Because  He Brought one More Angel  Home To His Arms

My mother had a long life, and Monday she’ll get to lay down beside my father and rest for eternity until our heavenly father lets Jesus take them home

To the family of God’s sweet angel:
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her for her kindness and thoughtfulness toward others.  She is resting in God’s arms . A good and faithful servant . God will turn all tears to joy knowing her wishes was granted.
