
Stephen Kenneth Hoskins, age 69, entered heaven on April 20th after suffering a heart attack. He was born November 17, 1953, in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara Hoskins, mother Shirley Hoskins, brother Philip (Janet) Hoskins, sister LeAn Warford (Mark), sons Whitaker Hoskins (Peggy Ja'Nelle "PJ"), Caleb Hoskins, and grandson Uriah David Hoskins. Nephews include Allen Warford (Brittany), Luke Warford (Ally), Amanda Edge (Casey), Mary Ann Adams (Gardner), Bryan Hoskins (Donna), Todd Hoskins (Deborah) and many great nieces and nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his father Kenneth Hoskins. He also leaves behind his beloved fur babies Bela and Ollie.
Stephen retired from the State of Tennessee as a disability claims advisor. He loved serving at Crievewood Baptist Church as a deacon, RA director, Wednesday night bus driver for international children, committee head, special events organizer, and co-leader for Operation Christmas Child. He loved gardening, UK basketball, coaching basketball and baseball, fishing, and exploring state parks.
Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton with visitation at 10 a.m.
Saturday at Crievewood Baptist Church, followed by service at 11 a.m. Private graveside service at Woodlawn to follow.
