

Sue was born in Old Hickory, Tennessee and has presided in Ocala, FL the last six years.
Sue was a former floral designer at Emma’s Florist. She had a green thumb and her home in Florida was a showplace of flowers. She also enjoyed the sun and spent many hours with her friends in Florida by the pool and enjoying “just another day in paradise”, as she would say.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, George E. Wakefield Jr., her father, John Ryman Adams; mother, Ocie Walker Adams; brother, R B Adams; 2 sisters, Gladys Webster and Doris York; second husband, Edward C. Holly and granddaughter, Holly Perry.
Sue is survived by 2 daughters, Linda Wakefield Perry Jones (John) of Woodbury, TN; Susan Wakefield Crocker (Ray) of Nashville, TN; 2 step daughters, Linda Acred of MS; and Lisa Pierce (Adam) of Shelbyville, TN; brothers, Jack Adams (Linda) of Cedar Hill, TN; Sam Adams of Nashville; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and her best friend, Larry Pressy who was always by her side for 6 years until her passing.
Visitation will be held from one o’ clock in the afternoon until two-thirty on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at two-thirty in the afternoon on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation one hour prior. Bro. Ronnie Pittenger, officiating.
