Susan Adams

Susan was born on January 19, 1947 in Nashville, TN to her parents, James E. Adams and Mary Etta Langston Adams. Her family grew up within the Nashville area. Susan graduated from Lipscomb High School in 1965. She went on to further her education and received a Bachelors in Art from Lipscomb University.

She enjoyed a brief career as a high school and middle school art teacher in St. Augustine, FL. She then went to work for her father’s company as a property manager. Susan was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church where she had many friends in the community. She was an enthusiastic equestrian and loved dogs.

Susan is preceded in death by her Parents, James E. Adams and Mary Etta Langston Adams, and her Brother, John F. Adams.

She is survived by her Brother, Jim (Renee) Adams of Murfreesboro, TN; Niece, Brooke (Maor) Sirota and son, Orry, of Israel; Nephew, Breland (Brittany) Adams of Rock Island, TN; Nephew, Beau (Whitney) of McMinnville, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort.

A Gathering of Family and Friends for Susan will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 beginning at 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane Nashville, TN 37204. Burial will follow the visitation in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
