

Susan S Wall of Nashville, age 76, passed away after a long illness on December 31, 2024.
She was born in Graham, North Carolina in 1948 to Tom and Jane Sharpe. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Kent Wall, her son, Chad Goldman, her brother, Thomas Sharpe, sister-in-law Colleen Sharpe, nephew Dylan Sharpe, stepson Stacy Wall, daughter-in-law Anne Wall, grandsons Charlie Wall and Thomas Wall, stepdaughter Mary McDonald, grandchildren Emily McDonald and Jack McDonald, and stepson Lee Wall.
It's fitting that Susan passed away peacefully on New Year’s Eve with family at her side because she always loved a dramatic exit. As a bright, funny, vivacious, woman who was never scared of a challenge, she accomplished feats that were as multidimensional as her personality. She was an avid sporting clays shooter, wining gold medals in competitions around the world. She was politically active, serving as president of Nashville Republican Women for two terms. She was a jewelry designer, gourmet cook, fashion maven, dog lover, hostess with the mostess, and above all, a loving wife and mother. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held on April 12 at First Presbyterian Church, 4815 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN.
Visitation 10:00 - 11:00, Service at 11:00.
