

Born on July 28, 1946, in Nashville, Tennessee, Tab was the son of the late James Henry Beazley Sr. and Dorothy Virginia Aaron Beazley.
On October 3, 1970, he married the love of his life, Vonda Ford, in Ashland City, Tennessee. Together, they shared 55 years of marriage, building a life centered around love, family, and unwavering commitment.
Tab retired after a remarkable 45-year career in the automotive and diesel industry. He dedicated many years to Mid State Automotive and Pro Diesel. Throughout his career, the people he worked alongside became more than coworkers—they became lifelong friends whom he considered family.
Above all, Tab was a devoted family man. He found his greatest joy in being surrounded by those he loved. Known for his storytelling and sense of humor, Tab had a special way of bringing people together, keeping family and friends entertained with his stories and memories. He deeply cherished time spent with loved ones, valuing those moments above all else.
Tab is survived by his loving wife, Vonda Ford Beazley of Lebanon; his sons, Aaron (Kelsey) Beazley of Mt. Juliet and Clay (Casey) Beazley of Mt. Juliet; his sisters, Teresa (Mike) Smith of Hendersonville and Nancy Bryant of Gallatin; and his brother, Ted (Michelle) Beazley of Gallatin. He is also survived by his seven beloved grandchildren: Corabelle, Henry, Evan, Blythe, Patrick, Penelope, and Jude Beazley.
In addition to his parents, Tab was preceded in death by his half-brothers, James Henry Beazley Jr. (“Sonny Boy”) and Raymond Beazley; and his half-sister, Grace Helen Fessey.
Serving as pallbearers are Henry Beazley, Neil Bowling, Marvis Boyd, Terry Boyd, Dug Gammon, Terry Gibbs, Win Keith, and Lenny Larson. Wayne Nooner will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Services will be held at Mount Olivet Funeral Home on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Family visitation will be from 10:00–11:00 AM, with public visitation from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow.
