

Tommy is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Douglas Maddox, Sr. and grandparents, Louis and Margaret (Granny) Baltz. He is survived by his loving mother, Judy Maddox Seigenthaler (Glenn); brother, Chuck Maddox (Cindy); sister, Lisa Maddox; nieces, Kimberly, Bailey, Neeleigh, Natalie, and Nadia; nephews, Ashton, Dallas, Grayson, Nicholas, and Noah; great niece, Serenity Nicole; longtime girlfriend, Kathy Henderson; special “grandbabies”, Claire, Sofia, and Raylan; half-brothers, Scott Maddox, Brad Maddox, and Blake Maddox; half-sisters, Tammy (Maddox) Hudson and Kristie (Maddox) Issacson.
Tommy was a country boy who grew up working on his grandparents’ farm, and he continued his strong work ethic, religious beliefs, and love for his family throughout his life. He was a nurturer to all children from his nieces and nephews to the children on his bus route where he worked with the Metro Nashville School System for over 20 years. He also had his own lawn mower service which he owned for over 20 years. When he was not working, he was a bodybuilder, avid hunter, outdoorsman, and collected rhinos. Tommy will be missed by all who knew him for his love and wonderful ability for storytelling.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. at Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home. Rosary service will be held at 3 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with the funeral mass to follow at St. Pius X Catholic Church 2800 Tucker Rd, Nashville, TN 37218.
