Mr. Thomas Mimms Tyner, known by many as Tommy, was born October 30, 1952 in Nashville, Tennessee. He passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. He was 65 years of age.

Tommy was preceded in death by father, Jack Ward and mother, Shirlie Anne Hollins.

He is survived by his son John Thomas Tyner and sister, Sharon Anne Hill.

Family and friends will gather 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Mount Olivet Funeral Home chapel for a Life Celebration Service officiated by Lemuel Wade. Interment will follow at the Historic Mount Olivet Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 8th from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made in honor of Thomas Mimms Tyner to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
