At the age of 75, Thomas Patrick Wall III passed on to his heavenly reward on June 19, 2026, at his home in Nashville, TN. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, friend, and colleague. Born to his loving parents Thomas Patrick Wall, Jr. and Anne Louise Eidell Wall on March 30, 1951 in Nashville, Patrick grew up serving at Mass as an altar boy. Attending Overbrook School at the Dominican Campus for grammar school and Father Ryan for high school (class of 1969), Patrick played tennis for the Father Ryan High School team. He chose the confirmation name Henry when he was confirmed in the Catholic Church. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and was commissioned into the U.S. Navy having also completed Naval ROTC. He served as a midshipman on the replenishment oiler USS Navasota (AO-106) and as an officer on the replenishment oiler USS Milwaukee (AOR-2), achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He remained in the US Navy Reserve for many years after his service in the active Navy ended. After the Navy, he held positions with Ryder Truck Lines and the Nashville Beer Board. He graduated from the YMCA’s Nashville School of Law in 1984. He worked his way from law clerk to partner at Hall & Wall before starting his own law practice. As part of the Davidson County Bar, he represented countless clients in the Middle Tennessee area for over 40 years. He married the love of his life, Lee Ann Carter, on May 7, 1988, in Nashville at the Cathedral of the Incarnation.
He served as President of both the Woodmont Kiwanis Club and the Freolac Club in Nashville.
