Thongsouk was born in Laos and came to America in 1991 with her children. She worked as a steward at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, where she retired. Always a hard worker with a strong work ethic, she not only supported her family, but also served others in the community.
She was known to her family as “Mah Thu”, which translates to grandma in Laotian, and loved to spend quality time with her family creating memories over meals and stories. In her leisure time, she enjoyed listening to traditional Laotian music and watching documentaries. She also loved to travel the world; her favorite places to visit were California and Laos.
Thongsouk Siharath was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother, and her husband. She will be cherished in the memories of her family and friends, including her loving children Phovtvilay Siharath, Somsanouk Siharath, Amphon Siharath, Vone Kittirath, Mong Siharath, Vicki Sengsayadeth, and Bing Johnson; Twenty grandchildren; Five great-grandchildren; and a host of others.
