DUNCAN, Velva Ray, age 79 of Nashville, passed away Jan. 26, 2012. Preceded in death by her daughters, Rebecca and Diana Duncan. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Jack Duncan; son, Ron (Jill) Duncan; 2 sisters and 1 brother; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mrs. Duncan was a member of Trevecca Community Church of The Nazarene. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 in Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Larry Leonard officiating. Interment will follow at Christ Church Memorial Gardens, 15354 Old Hickory Blvd., Nashville, TN, 37211. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
