LILLEY, Vera Rhoton, age 102, passed away on January 29, 2012 in Murfreesboro, TN. She is preceeded in death by her husband Alver Johnson Lilley; daughter Louise L. Monk; sisters Hester Moore, Stella Young, Jessie Floyd, Etoile Fulton; and her brothers Fred Rhoton and W. D. Rhoton. Vera is survived by her daughter Linda (Larry) James; grandchildren Wayne Monk, Dawn (Kerry) Fleenor, Steve Monk, Andrew Monk, Brian James and Lillie (Chuck) Rainey; 3 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was passionate about sewing and quilting. Vera also loved her church where she was an active member for over 50 years, First Wesleyan Church, Nashville, TN. She worked at Jamison Bedding for 46 years. Visitation will be held from three until seven o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, the 31st of January, at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30PM in the afternoon on Wednesday, the 1st of February, at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with visitation held one hour prior.
