Vicki Jane Jasch, age 69, beloved Wife and Mother of two, went home to be with our heavenly Father and her Lord on Friday, May 17, 2019, at home surrounded by her entire loving family and special friends. Vicki lost her five-year battle with Pancreatic Cancer, which she fought diligently and courageously. She was proclaimed a miracle patient by her doctors, Dr. David Allen, Primary Care Physician and Dr. Patrick Murphy, Oncologist.
Vicki was born on May 1, 1950 in Nashville, TN at Baptist Hospital to Mary Jane Chadwell Greer and Charles Barham Gordon. She had a distinct love for horses and a zest for life. She attended numerous prestigious horse racing events throughout the country including the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and The Belmont Stakes.
Vicki was well-known in the community of Franklin whose personality radiated kindness and love. She was one of the kindest and most genuine individuals one could ever have the privilege of knowing and being friends with. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a love of life.
Vicki was a member of Nolensville Baptist Church and actively involved her Sunday School Class until her health no longer permitted her to attend. She was deeply loved by all her friends and family and her life exemplified Christ and she lived as a fine, Christian lady.
Vicki is survived by her husband of 30 years, Harold (Hal) Arthur Jasch; sons, Benjamin Shane Cooke and Chad Brian Jasch, Franklin, TN; sister, Diana Lynn Killingsworth, Franklin, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Esley (Mike)and Peny Gordon, Nashville, TN niece Shannon Leigh Killingsworth, Franklin, TN, nephew Timothy Michael Gordon, Nashville, TN, great nieces Kaitlyn Nicole Fletcher and Kelsey Leigh Bell, Franklin, TN and special family friends Michael Valentine, Franklin, Tn and Lucy Pruitt, LaVergne, TN.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 4-8 pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, as well as a gathering of friends and family on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 11:30 to 1:00 pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life at 1 PM in the Chapel of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton and Memorial Park is Located at 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made in memory of Vicki to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Shriner’s Hospital.
