Vicki A. Yeary

Vicki Ann Yeary, age 71, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away at St. Thomas Hospital after a brief illness on January 7, 2019 Vicki was born February 13, 1947 and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky and later moved to Louisville, KY where she received her BA from Western Kentucky University in 1969. It was there she met the love of her life Hubert E. “Buddy” Yeary to whom she was devoted for 47 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elvis and Mary Kington of Louisville, KY and is survived by her husband, Buddy Yeary, brother John (Carmen) Kington, sister Mary Jane Early, Jonathon (Angela) Yeary, Richard (Robin) Yeary, several nephews, a niece and numerous grandnephews and grandnieces.

Vicki enjoyed a fulfilling career as a high school art teacher and retired from Beech High School and Sumner County Schools in 1998. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the outdoors as well as travelling. Vicki was a devoted wife and homemaker and most enjoyed the time she shared with her husband.

Pallbearers are John Kington, Rob Early, Greg Howell, Richard Yeary, Jim Michie and Mark Tucker. Honorary Pallbearers are Charles DeMore, Reese Robertson, and Jonathon L. Yeary.

Her visitations are Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and Friday, January 11, 2019 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Dignity Hall Friday, January, 11, 2019 at 1:00pm.
