Virginia U. Khouri

KHOURI, Virginia U., 88, of Nashville, Tennessee, died on Saturday morning, August 24, 2013. Visitation will be at Christ Church Cathedral on Monday, August 26, 4pm - 6pm. Funeral services will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, on Tuesday morning, 10am. Graveside services will be held in Paducah, KY at Mt. Kenton cemetery at 2pm. Virginia was born in Vincennes, Indiana on May 8, 1925 to her parents Amelia Wyly and Harry Uland. She attended Atherton High School in Louisville, KY. She graduated from the University of Louisville with a BA degree in Psychology in 1946. She was a founder and former President of the Paducah Art Guild, and worked at the Cheekwood Art Library until she retired. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Khouri, Jr, on August 19, 1974. She is survived by her sister, Elsie Uland Shultz, of Nashville, TN, her four loving children, Shellie Khouri McDaniel of Nashville, TN, (James Edwin McDaniel) Michael A. Khouri of Alexandria, VA, (Sandra Willis Khouri) Callie Khouri of Pacific Palisades, (Joseph Henry Burnett) CA, and Marcum David Eli Khouri (Carola Pinckert Khouri) of Portola Valley, CA, her grandchildren, Amelia McDaniel Johnson, David Neal McDaniel, Aaron Michael Khouri, Benjamin Eli Khouri, Carolina Mae Khouri, Annika Sophia Pauline Khouri, Angelina Calve' Burnett, Molly Harrison Burnett, Simone Isabelle Burnett, her great grand-children Virginia Wyly McDaniel, Julian Wooten Johnson, her nephew, Timothy David Shultz, her niece, Patricia Shultz Miller, and her great nephew Emmett John Miller.
