

She is preceded in death by her loving husband William Mays. She was born 12/30/1937 in Woodburn, Kentucky as a Cantrell, and later adopted by James ‘Wonky’ and Josey Harris. Survived by children; Danny (Becky) Mays, Marsha (David) Gillem, Ronnie Mays, and James (Michelle) Mays. Her grandchildren: Greg, Dee Dee, Bradford, Stephanie, Emily, Austin, Allie; Her great grandchildren; Shay, Olivia, Savannah, Martina, and great great grandson Aaron.
She loved everyone she met and especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a collector of many different kinds of trinkets. She enjoyed cooking family meals every night. Homemade biscuits and meatloaf was a favorite for the family and especially her orange cake was a treat for everyone. Her life was a living example of the Lord’s command to live doing good works. She fulfilled these teachings by being a faithful loving wife, a dedicated loving mother, and helper to those who needed help. She never met a stranger and always thought the best of anyone she met. She was always kind and sensitive to the needs of others.
Visitation Sunday April 8th from four o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home.
Second visitation Monday April 9th from nine until ten o'clock in the morning, Funeral will begin at ten o'clock in the morning in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
