This broke my heart to find out that Mr. Conn had passed away. It also put a Big smile on my face just knowing that he got what he had been asking God for and that was to take him home to be with him. He was tired just as Sue is and I no that she will join him soon. I will miss going downstairs in the Burton Hills break room to make
him those Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies with a Hershey’s kisses on the top. You could smell those cookies baking throughout the area of the assisted living quarters at Burton Hills. Whereafter there would be employees coming from every direction with the hopes of getting asked to have one. I had to be very careful they would not all be gone by the time I got them back up to Mr. Conns. He wouldn’t have liked that but then again he was so kind that he would have been just fine with it.
He will be sadly be missed by me. Rest on my dear friend. You will always be in my heart.
I love you Mr. Conn.❤️
From your dear friend Donna

I had the honor and privilege to work with Walt in the Legal Office at LifeWay for many years. He was a fine Christian gentleman and a gifted and knowledgeable Attorney. He handled many important legals matters for LifeWay and his counsel and advice were valued by everyone.

Walt was especially respected and admired by the people who knew him best, those who worked with him each day. He was a true Southern gentleman who always took time to help anyone who came to his office. His impact on the intellectual property owned by LifeWay demonstrated his love and skill in what he did.
