At the Baptist Sunday School Board in Nashville, Bill served two separate tenures, in Broadman Press, as a Sunday School consultant, and in management of Ridgecrest and Glorieta, the Southern Baptist Conference Centers. After 29 years of service, he retired and entered full-time music evangelism and volunteered with the Home Mission Board, directing city block parties to share the Gospel. As a vocalist, Bill led the music for many revivals, and he and his wife, Catherine, made two albums, "God Gave Me Love" and "From Glory to Heaven" and five CDs. He also compiled a book of hymns and co-authored two senior adult musicals. In the assisted living facility where he resided, Bill continued to use his strong, powerful voice to lead a weekly worship service for the residents. In his words, "Thank You Jesus, for allowing me to praise You with my voice, sharing Your love and gift of salvation with many people."
