DURHAM, William Cordell, age 85 of Nashville, passed away August 27, 2011. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Durham; brother, Thomas E. Durham, Jr.; sister, Mildred Dotson. Survived by sons, Larry S. (Janice) Durham, Hendersonville, TN and Gary W. (Dee) Durham, College Grove, TN.; grandchildren, Kim Vandiver, Mt. Juliet, Kara (Shannon) Gordon, Springfield, TN, Brent Durham and Melanie Cooper, both of Murfreesboro, TN; great grandchildren, Haley Vandiver, Camden Cooper; brother, Bobby (Nancy) Durham; sister, Betty Tuttle. A decorated W.W. II Army veteran, Mr. Durham was hard working, devoted to his family and loved camping, fishing and hunting. He could fix anything. Family and friends will gather to remember Cordell on Monday, August 29, 2011 from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock in the evening and one hour prior to services at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 30,2011 in Woodlawn’s Diginty Hall, Dr. Bruce Chesser officiating.
