

ESTES, William Harold – Age 84, of Antioch, TN passed away on October 2, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, William Henry and Dora Estes; and brothers, James Thomas Estes and Bobby Estes. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 21 years, Alva Estes; children, Timothy (Kellie) Swoape and Melinda Swoape; three grandchildren; sister, Henrietta Welch Hunsaker; and several nieces and nephews. Harold will always be remembered for his loyal devotion to whatever it is he committed himself to, from his service to his country while in the U.S. Army in WWII, to his lifelong career as an Electrical Engineer for the State of TN, retiring after 39 years of service, to his faithful membership at Gladstone Church of Christ, to his wife whom he adored and lovingly referred to as “Baby Doll”, and for his genuine care and concern to all those his life touched. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 with Bro. Jerry Maxwell and Bro. Rick Mosley officiating. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Friends to serve as Active Pallbearers.
