William (Bill) Dan Flowers passed away on the evening of June 28, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patsy M. Flowers. He is also survived by his daughter, Tiffany Michelle Lohner (Eric). Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Alan Flowers, who was married to Billie A. Flowers.
Mr. Flowers and his wife have been blessed with five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Robert Cody Dowell, Jakob Brandon Lohner, twins Mallory Nichole Lohner and Madisyn Noelle Lohner and Kaitlyn Marie Flowers; great granddaughters Adalynn Jean Dowell and Gracelynn Mae Isbell.
Bill served in the United States Marine Corp and upon his discharge, became a Metropolitan Nashville Police Officer and eventually retired. He worked for a time at the State of Tennessee Drug Task Force. He enjoyed camping, hiking, backpacking, canoeing, biking, and creating miniature replicas of military vehicles. Bill loved all wildlife but especially loved spending time with his dogs.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 10, 2021 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Woodlawn-Roesch Patton Funeral Home on Thompson Lane, Nashville, Tn.
