

William Frank Jones, Jr was a long time resident of Nashville. He was born May 11, 1927 in Slocum, Texas. He was eighty nine years old when he went home to be with the Lord. He fell in love with a young Nashville girl Marguerite Alsup, they married and moved to Nashville. Marguerite preceded him in death September 1, 1995. Frank was the proprietor of Belle Meade shell service station, at the fork of Hwy 70 and Hwy 100 in the late seventies when he retired. During his retirement Frank continued to work on lawn mowers, cars or anything with a motor. People from all over the city would bring items for him to repair. His passions were fishing and gardening. Frank was a long time member of West Nashville Heights Church of Christ. He is survived by his son William Michael Jones, daughter-in-law Leigh Ann Mason Jones, grandson Will Jones, granddaughter Shannon Jones Banks, (Stefan Banks) great grandchildren Mimi and Hank Banks, sister Neva Jones Broad and brother Bill Jones. Visitation will be at Charlotte Heights Church of Christ 6833 Old Charlotte Road Nashville, TN. 37209, Monday June 27, 2016 from three o’clock to five o’clock in the evening a memorial service to follow, burial will be private.
