

Frankie lived a life marked by service, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for history and travel. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, including service during Operation Desert Storm, a chapter of his life he carried with honor.
Frankie spent many years working within and indulging his passion for the tourism industry, later being involved with a tourist company that operated two locations across the state of Tennessee. Through this work, he shared his love for the state by guiding others through historic homes and notable historical locations throughout Tennessee, leaving a lasting impression on those who experienced his tours.
Frankie found great joy in traveling. He especially loved visiting Gatlinburg, taking cruises, and traveling to places such as the Bahamas, always embracing new experiences and time spent exploring the world.
On November 14, 1964, Frankie married the love of his life, Shirley L. Thomas, with whom he shared 62 years of marriage—a true testament to their enduring love, partnership, and devotion.
Frankie is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley L. Thomas; his cousins, David Wilson and Glenn Warner; and the entire Thomas family, along with many extended relatives, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Frankie will be remembered for his service, his storytelling, his appreciation of history, and the warmth he shared with others. His legacy lives on through the memories held by those who knew and loved him.
