William Byron Tomlinson

William “Bill” Byron Tomlinson, 77, of Nashville, TN, passed away on November 21, 2025.

Born on March 17, 1948, in Memphis, TN, Bill lived a life full of humor, kindness, and a healthy dose of sarcasm that brought joy to everyone around him. On September 21, 1979, Bill married the love of his life, Jerilynn, and together they built a family that was his greatest pride and joy. After retiring from Pillsbury in 2006, Bill spent his days crafting custom cedar swings, but his true passion was always his family.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Jerilynn Tomlinson; daughters Jessica Bolt, Becky Null, and Andrea Tomlinson; grandchildren Siera Priess, MaKayla Null, Zachery Null, and Suene Bolt; great-grandson Nolan William Bolt; and sister Glenda Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn “Jack” and Edris Tomlinson, and sister Cynthia Ann.

A graveside committal service will be held Wednesday, November 26th at Greenwood Cemetery, 976 Greenwood Ave, Clarksville, TN, at 11:30 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at 143 Curtis Ave, Alexandria, TN.

Bill will be remembered for his quick wit, generous heart, and unwavering love for his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the laughter and love he shared with all who knew him
