Willine was born June 13, 1927 and went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2026.
Through her journey of 99 years, Willine touched countless lives with her beautiful spirit and love of life. She was a woman of faith and lived her life with strength, integrity, honesty and resilience. Known by Grams to many, Willine not only never met a stranger but rarely met a person she didn’t love wholeheartedly.
She loved to thrift and antique shop, use her talents crafting to make beautiful creations and she loved to bake sweets. Her peanut brittle is legendary.
She loved music and traveling, especially trips to the beach where she spent many months at a time in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
More than anything she loved her family, living out the most special love story with her daughter and best friend, Marsha and her son-in-law, Jimmy, who made her laugh until the end.
Willine was a loyal employee of Western Electric in Nashville for 27 years.
She was a member of Tusculum Hills Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Elizabeth Williams, brother Robert Williams, sister Marie Givens, and great-granddaughter Sadie Grace Cushman.
Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Jimmy Cushman, grandson Scott (Cyndi) Cushman, granddaughter Heather (Stephen) Baird, great-granddaughters Maya and Wren Baird, sisters Gloria Johnson and Susan (Dan) Frye, brother Larry (Barbara) Williams and many extended family members who loved her.
Our Grams will be missed beyond words. Until we meet again…
