Willis M. Maxwell Jr. (Bill) was born July 31, 1929 in Baxter, Tennessee and passed from this life on July 2, 2014 in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Mr. Maxwell was 84. He was preceeded in death by his wife, Darlene Strange Maxwell, his father, Willis Maxwell Sr, his mother, Rachel Ford Maxwell and his brother, Howard Maxwell. He is survived by his daughter, Alice (John) Keeley, his two step-sons, Roger (Barbara) Elliott, Terry Elliott and sister Peggy McKnight.
He is also survived by his five granddaughters: Sara (Jon) Simmons, Jennifer (Charlie) Corbett, Micki (Greg) Johns, Carrie (Mat) Logsdon and Becky (Jesse) Casanova and 14 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Wood Lawn Funeral home located at 660 Thompson lane Nashville, Tennessee Monday, July 7. Visitation from 11:00-1:00 p.m. with services to follow. Pastor Bob Orgeron officiating.
