She was the daughter of the late Jay and Loreen Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband, JR, and their daughter, Karen. Her brother, JC, also preceded her in death.
Jean was born in McMinnville, lived in Nashville, and was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
Jean is survived by devoted nieces, nephews, and friends that miss her smile and the love she shared. The 57 year love story Jean shared with JR was a joy for them and those that observed.
Always elegant, a loving and devoted wife and mother. Jean was open hearted to everyone she met. Her greatest joys were caring for her husband and taking care of their daughter with special needs. She had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed thrift store shopping and spending time with family.
A service will be held Thursday October 1, 2026, at 11:00 am.
Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville
In lieu of flowers the family request that charitable contributions be sent to Nashville Humane Association or Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Center.
