Zachary Draughon

Zachary was born December 17, 1988 in Jackson, Mississippi, son of Randy and Renee Draughon.

Zachary was loved with a fierce love by his family and his God. He was a member of Midtown Fellowship Church and a deeply treasured son, brother, and friend to many in his community. Zach’s church family grieves alongside the Draughon family—heartbroken, but trusting in the secure and finished work of Christ for Zach’s salvation as they do for their own.

Zachary is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ed Watkins and Bill Draughon.

Survivors include his parents; brother, Trenton Draughon (Sara Fisher), sister, Maggie Draughon; grandmothers, Connie Watkins and Mable Jo Draughon; great-grandmother, Artie Barnett; numerous unlces, aunts and cousins; girlfriend, Abby Anderson.

A celebration of life service will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon, Thursday, March 6, 2014 from Rocketown, 601 4th Ave South, Nashville, TN 37203 with the Reverends, Joel Walker, Dave Burden and Russ Ramsey officiating. Interment will immediately follow from Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends, five o’clock in the evening until eight, Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Memorial Park and one hour prior to service time at Rocketown.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions made to Midtown Fellowship Church Benevolence.
