Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to James W George and George Ann George.
After graduating from Eastern New Mexico University with a degree in Business and Economics, she taught high school in Farmington, New Mexico then moved on to administrative duties at Hewlett Packard before starting a family of her own.
Zetia was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church for 52 years where she dedicated her time serving others as a coordinator for Loaves and Fishes for 25 years. Her selflessness was far reaching and will be greatly missed.
She was a devoted wife, mother the best “Gam Gam” anyone could ever have.
In addition to parents, she is preceded in death by husband of 55 years, Bob Patterson, brother Frank George and sister Kay Linger.
She is survived by four children, John (Terri) Patterson, Chris (Ashlea) Patterson, Ann (Rick) Ritter and Katie Patterson; six grandchildren, Zita, Claire, Jake, Wylie, Allie and Georgie; nieces, nephews as well as a multitude of friends.
Private visitation will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Dan Steiner officiating.
Internment to immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery, 1001 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210.
A public memorial will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Academy, 190 Graylynn Drive, Nashville, TN 37214.
