Aalynah Lizzete Fernandez Sanchez

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us today in remembering our beautiful daughter, Aalynah Lizzete Fernandez Sanchez.

Aalynah was 13 years old and was just about to finish the 8th grade. Born on April 29, 2011, at 7:41 PM, she brought immense joy into our lives from the very beginning.

Aalynah had a tremendous passion for art, crafts, and sports. She filled our home-and even her hospital room-with beautiful paintings that reflected her vibrant, creative spirit. She especially loved soccer and volleyball, always bringing her energy and determination to every game.

She loved spending time with her friends, and her smile, warm hugs, and sense of humor will forever be cherished by everyone who knew her-friends, family, and classmates alike. One of her favorite pastimes was playfully teasing her dad, no matter the circumstances. Her humor and ability to brighten any room were unmatched, a true testament to her amazing personality.

Aalynah also had a special love for Disney, with her favorite character being Stitch. Like Stitch, Aalynah brought happiness and laughter wherever she went. Her favorite color was baby blue, a perfect reflection of her calm, kind, and bright spirit. She lived by her favorite quote: “Think of me when you look at sunsets.”
