Anthony “Tony” Cruz, a beloved Husband, Father, Papa, Son, and Brother, passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on August 10, 1956, Tony lived a life filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. He was the life of every room he entered, radiating warmth, humor, and a genuine kindness that touched every soul he encountered. A simple man with extraordinary qualities, Tony found joy in the little things: casting a fishing line, savoring sashimi, being delightfully silly, and creating memories that will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.

A viewing will be held at Funeraria del Angel National City, located at 607 National City Blvd, National City, California, on February 15, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The Catholic Funeral Mass will take place at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 2643 Homedale St, San Diego, CA, on February 17, 2026, at 11:00 am.

Following the mass, a committal service with military honors will be held at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Dr, San Diego, CA, on February 17, 2026, at 1:15 pm.
